Our Homemade Vinaigrette

Oil, Olive Oil, Food, Tomato, Healthy

Summer is just around the corner, and who doesn't love a cool, crisp salad on a warm day?

It's one of the best parts of my week, no joke, to have a great big salad, lots of colors, and just the right dressing. I just love the textures and flavors, and I crave vegetables every day. If you do not crave them easily, don't worry! Having a delicious homemade vinaigrette on hand can make it a little easier to get a big salad into your day. It can even quench cravings for something tangy/salty/crunchy in no time. You'll be pre-chopping your salad for tomorrow, too!

Here's our family recipe. Use it on a vegetable salad, pasta salad or even a good bean salad.

Homemade Vinaigrette

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
3/4 cups olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper (optional)
You can also sprinkle just the smallest bit of stevia into this to reduce the tart flavor.

Just mix all of these ingredients together into a shaker bottle and put 1-2 tablespoons over your salad as needed. Enjoy!
